I had 3 suits at the time, the BoS one, the first set (t45?) Which every piece was broken on except one leg iirc, and some shitty raider PA which was also mostly broken. I run inside RR only to see my best PA suit is missing. The fuck? How did Carla get BoS Power Armour? No new conversation options, just the usual trader stuff. After the damage is dealt, I go up to the Knight to see if there's any reward or interaction options, when the display shows that I'm talking to Trashcan Carla. Fret not brother, I've got your back! I run in guns blazing. I sprint over to find (who I thought was) a Brotherhood Knight fighting off some mongrels.
I say "fuck it" and turn around to head back to the Red Rocket, when I hear more gunfire, coming from the RR's direction.
I lose sight of Carla, and a couple minutes later the brahmin outruns the bloatflies and I lose track of him too. I jump down and remove a chunk of wall so I can chase the show. I thought neat, hopefully the bloatflies manage to kill the cow so I can check if it has any loot on it without making Carla (who seems to basically live in my Sanctuary) hostile. Quick VATS 360 and I see two bloatflies chasing down a pack brahmin with Trashcan Carla in chase. Is this what a base attack is? I haven't had a base attack yet, not sure. So I just finished building a wall surrounding the whole property, and was part way done my little tower on the roof, when I hear gunshots. I get the impression that there is some bug (or feature) that simply relocates your armor without reason.I decided to build up Red Rocket as a personal base, no resources or settlers or outposts or anything, just somewhere to store my Power Armor and craft shit and store all my junk. (Elevator access only) I have heard npcs can spawn anywhere. These suits were both stored in displays in a near inaccessible building 8 floors above Abernathy farm. At the same time! A little console-fu later I located one UNDER the Medtek building. The last time BOTH my Vim suits vanished. I then had to repair and buy a new frame from Atom Cats. Waited an in game month, and finally killed him myself,l. After watching my settlers shoot my baby to pieces I reloaded, several times. I did not worry much more about this until I arrived one day to find a high rank gunner in my sugar bombs T51. Odd I thought, Perhaps this is a feature. After the battle I found him in a T45 with a magic core suddenly installed. Another few reloads and I got there first. One reload later I saw him run to my safe And grab 40 cores and jump in the suit. I swan Jun Long in my flames T45 and wondered how.
The first time was at sanctuary during an attack. We have all heard "take your cores out so it won't get stolen" But I have had scoreless suits stolen.
